Sarah's Sweet 16

We attended Sarah's Sweet 16 party this weekend. Boy did she rake in the dough $$$$! I have known her and her mommie since she was in the belly! She was a sweet little girl who has grown into an awesome young teen. She's smart, witty, happy, beautiful, honest, caring, did I say smart. The girl is smart!!!!!!! I'm not talking just smart, I mean smart. She's the whole package. We love her!
Here's my little diddy!
A Sweet 16 Poem for Sarah
The first time we met your mom
was at a Christmas Show
Little did we know for the next 16 years
that we would watch you grow
You fill everyone's heart
with love and joy
Watch out Wagoner here she comes
She's traded in all her toys
Yes that's right
She drives a car
How can she be 16 years old
That's so extremely bizarre
Our 16th birthday wish
For you today
Is to have fun and dream big
for whatever comes your way!
And here's a one more thing
I promise I won't give you any more smell good creme
That will make you break out in hives.

Today (January 29th) it was 77 degrees in my neck of the woods. I decided to look around the yard to see what I could find because a little bit of fever hit me, that's spring fever not the flu fever that is slamming our town right now. Nonetheless, here's a picture of what's poking out of the ground already, crocus. Oh how I love crocus, the early blooming flower that reminds me spring is on the way.

This week I have played a lot of "girl stuff". On Sunday I hosted a "facial day" with the 2 lucky winners from last months Christmas open house drawing. They brought their friends and I had a house full of girls. I hope they had as good as time as I had. My boys won't play hair and makeup with me. I'm kind of glad because I would be a little scared if they did. And 3 days later I had the pleasure of spending a little time with my co-workers daughter. We didn't have much time but we did get to soak our feet and have a mini facial and sip tea.....Again I hope she had as good a time as I did.

My friends

Thinking of my friends week!

My childhood friends, Tammy and Leslie. I have known them for more than 35 years. Tammy's mom used to babysit me so it seems like I have known her since day one (1). I first met Leslie in grade school when she and her dad bought my horse, Drupper. Tammy and Leslie lived by each other so they probably had more fun together....without me.... tears.
Thanks to Tammy we try and get together 6 to 8 times a year. Its a little easier now since we don't have little kids at home and no one misses us.

Facial Wash

My facial wash is 100% natural. It lathers up into a cold-cream like consistency and is lightly scented. It is good for all skin types but extra good for dry skin. Below is a recent comment.

"Kait wanted me to let you know that her friend gave her a facial with a department store mask and it left a chemical burn on her face. She used your facial wash and not only did it clear up the burn it left her face silky smooth. She loves it and swears by it."
